Only suitably qualified bidders will be invited to Stage 2 - The Invitation to Tender.Edinburgh Leisure is seeking to have a preferred fitness equipment supplier for a 5 year period with a clause to review at year 3 and 4.Testing the market for what the current and future gym equipment will be like to ensure we; provide our customers with an enjoyable experience and remain at the forefront of innovation within the leisure industry.Receive the best value for money and partner with a reputable supplier who will assist in developing educating our peopleFull ranges of cardiovascular and strength equipment from a leading supplier of fitness equipment and also interactive electronic equipment.The contract provides for advice on suitable equipment, gym layout planning, installation, integrated audio-visual systems, maintenance packages for the supplied equipment, marketing support and product training.The cardiovascular and strength equipment available includes treadmills, cycles, steppers, cross trainers, spinning bikes, ergometers, leg, shoulder, tricep and chest presses, lat pulldown machines, rowing machines, dip/chin machines, curl machines, leg extension machines, dumbbells, barbells, benches, punch bags, mats, racks, and anything else from the suppliers' ranges.Associated services include installation, configuration, disposal, maintenance/support services and training.We are seeking the full design, supply, installation, configuration, marketing support and training for gym facilities.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Public Contracts Scotland Web Site at http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=298984The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
