Preventing repeat child removals - keyworker host
Descriptions
We are looking for a partner Voluntary Sector organisation to employ and host the Key Worker.
We believe that voluntary sector organisations are best placed to provide the flexibility the role will require.
Our VCS Partner will be:
• Excited to shape the Key Worker role, and create this new way of working
• Able to support the worker and their work to be flexible to need
• Confident to safeguard children and vulnerable adults
• Able and willing to be part of the learning process
• Able to balance the support they give the Key Worker with the close collaboration with the System Lead and Team around the Worker.
Once selected, our steering group will work with the VCS Partner to finalise the role description and recruit the Key Worker.
In post, the Key Worker will:
• be employed by the VCS Partner
• follow the VCS Partner’s policies and procedures
• work closely with the System Lead
• have reflective supervision from the System Lead
• be supported by the Team Around the Worker
• focus on learning through monthly meetings with their manager from the host organisation and the project’s Learning Partner
