Conwy County Borough Council is seeking to procure a suitably qualified Contractor for the performance of the following contract:Primary School Modernisation Programme – Colwyn Bay Area 1: Link building construction between Ysgol Pendorlan and Ysgol Glan-y-Mor, Refurbishment and Remodelling Works.The Scheme will comprise, but is not limited to, the following works:• Construction of new single storey link building between Ysgol Pendorlan and Ysgol Glan-y-Mor;• Forming glazed link corridors;• Remodelling and refurbishment works to existing school buildings;• Construction of new platform lift and lift shaft;• Alterations and extension of internal and external services;• Boiler replacement and alternative infrared heating;• Hard and soft landscaping.Full details of the works can be found in Volumes 1 – 5 Primary School Modernisation Programme – Colwyn Bay Area 1 documents.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=27832.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
