Provision of stores facility for Local Authority responsive and voids maintenance services to be provided from existing premises, current turnover between £1m and £1.3m per annum. TUPE transfer of existing staff will be required.Stocked itemsThe range of materials stocked by the Council to maintain and refurbish its stock will be similar to those of other Housing Authorities and include: -Plumbing, sanitaryware and waste & roof drainage Central heating appliances and controlsElectrical fittings, controls and cablingPainting and decorating materialsSealants and adhesivesSheet and finished and sawn timberIronmongery fixings and fittings and locksCeramic tilesGeneral building items - bricks/blocks/aggregates/plaster & boardCleaning and consumable productsItems of PPE, small tools and consumables and small task equipmentSome items that may be specific to the Authority include: -Joinery shop producing bespoke windows and doorsPainters priming shopSheets of float glass for use by the Council's glaziersMetal bar and rod for use in the fabrication of fencing and gatesWhite goods - electric cookers and fridges
