Descriptions

The Merseyside Connected project covers the boroughs of Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral, and is administered by a Project Board comprising representatives from each Local Authority. The project's intention is to redress market failure in the provision of Superfast broadband throughout the sub-region, the Board will direct and fund the infrastructure project, and also a concurrent Business Support package necessary to encourage small and medium businesses (SME's) in the area to maximise their use of the higher speed and associated technologies it supports.
