Procurement of Digital Smart City Screens

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is looking to engage with the market in advance of procuring external and internal digital smart city screens specifically for the city centre, with the possibility of expanding across the borough.WCBC initially plans to procure a large fixed display screen (3m x 2m) with the ability to expand our digital infrastructure hubs around the city centre. This is to provide visitors and our existing communities with vital navigation information, events, attractions, and changes to Council services. All our hubs need to be able to connect upon installation so that they can broadcast common messages simultaneously across Wrexham County.In terms of requirements, this market engagement is intended to gather information on the infrastructure, software, management, updates, and security for both the software and the physical screens, as they are exposed to the elements and other external factors where they may be damaged.
