The NHS England National Commercial and Procurement Hub supported NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB to place a new contract for the provision of a General Practice Appointment Booking solution to replace the national contract for appointment booking supplied by Accurx Limited which expired on 30th June 2024. NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB's requirement is for an appointment booking solution that enables booking of appointments by patients into GP clinics, long term condition clinics and vaccination clinics with integration with GP clinical systems. The solution is required to meet the digital pathways capabilities that support Modernising General Practice (MGP). A call-off process from the CCS G-Cloud 13 Framework (RM1557.13) Lot 2: Cloud software was undertaken in accordance with the G-Cloud 13 buyers guide to identify the most suitable provider to deliver requirements. The contract has been awarded to Accurx Limted. The contract is awarded for an initial period of 9 months with the option to extend for a further 6 months.
