PROCUREMENT OF PROSPECTIVE PROVIDERS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF HEATING, FUEL SWITCHING & SOLAR HOT WAT

Willmott Dixon are appointed Scheme Managers for arbed Phase 2 ERDF Project Mid to North Wales for the delivery of Energy Saving Measures to homes within 8 appointed Local Authorities. Schemes will be identified on an annual basis after application by those Local Authorities to the Welsh Government (WG). As Scheme Managers, Wilmott Dixon work with WG and with Local Authorities to ensure that investment meets with strategic priorities.Willmott Dixon wished to procure a 12 month Agreement with a select number of Installers for the delivery of the arbed Phase 2 ERDF Scheme in Mid to North WalesWilmott Dixon will expect Installers to work in collaboration with development teams and their consultants in order to;Develop Locally based supply chainsImprove quality and reduce costsImprove performance and promote innovationShare performance data across the arbed Phase 2 ERDF Project Delivery TeamsParticipate in employment, training and other community investment initiatives to maximise wider community benefitsSupport initiatives to reduce the environmental impacts created by the intended works.This is a labour only Heating, Fuel Switching and Solar Hot Water contract. There are expected to be up to eight (8) installers selected for the framework.The majority of the works will involve working in occupied homes, therefore it is essential that the Installers selected have the necessary skills to communicate with residents and appreciate the concerns they may have in relation to works being undertaken in their homes.More information is provided in the attached documents
