This service is being put in place to directly support the successful delivery of the RIS3 programme. By providing a Product Supplier Assurance Service this will ensure that National Highways will ensure that the equipment is assured and ready for implementation when the programme needs it. - Elements of the service will include: o Ensure regular and accurate communications with the Product Acceptance Service Desk o Technical assurance of all PAC documentation to mitigate risk of rejection by PAS o Support to ensure Suppliers develop robust Quality Plans and Build Standard Qualification Plans prior to submission to PAS o Witness testing of Product Verification Units (when requested by PAS) o Provide technical support to National Highways during Factory Inspection Activities o Recommend / agree (with National Highways and Suppliers) corrective actions for non-conformances o Check Build Standard Qualification Evidence for completeness prior to submission to PAS o Witness re-testing following completion of actions to address non-conformances (when requested by PAS) o Support Suppliers to obtain Item Codes, stores type number index, software modification index and equipment type index and upload data to MRI and Oracle o Facilitation of SME support for additional acceptance processes e.g. NRTS PTN and CAF o Technical support to National Highways for any commercial action regarding non-conformance with Supply Agreements o Recording and co-ordination of any activities relevant to achieving PAC
