The production of tours and trails for the Mona Antiqua HTP project. The HTP project has identified several themes for the Interpretation of the Heritage of Wales, those that apply specifically to Anglesey include Origins- Prehistory/Romans, Invasion and Change, Spiritual Landscapes and Wales the First Industrial Nation (An Industrial Island). We wish to create trails based on the island’s archaeological sites and the stories that effectively promote these locations for the enjoyment of visitors and of the local communities of the island. The trails must include the island’s most iconic sites and targeted so as to be relevant to the known visitor demographics to the island. We anticipate that a minimum of 6 new trails will be designed and produced, to be hosted on the project web site and initially also as hard copies.
