PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE MOVE TO SUSTAINABLE LIVING THROUGH ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION

The Welsh Assembly Government on behalf of the Welsh Ministers intends to establish a pool of skilled providers to deliver a range of products and services to deliver sustainability and climate change objectives through communication and engagement. The services will be accessible to all areas of the Welsh Assembly Government, and the wider public service and related organisations supported by the Welsh Assembly Government.The framework contract has the objectives to:Help the Welsh Assembly Government, public, private and third sector organisations create and communicate a shared vision of a sustainable, resilient, low carbon Wales, and the actions required by organisations and individuals to realise this vision: and to provide visual representation of this future in public areas across Wales in order to increase public awareness and understanding of actions under way, as well as identifying what remains to be done.Help to build capacity within the Welsh Assembly Government, public and third sector organisations in designing and managing effective communication and engagement campaigns with all sectors of society on issues of sustainable development and climate change.Help to build capacity within the Welsh Assembly Government, public and third sector organisations in the design, support and delivery of social marketing campaigns to encourage behaviour change to establish ways of living which use fewer resources in order to achieve greenhouse gas emissions reductions in Wales, and adapt to the unavoidable impacts of climate change.Help create networks of support across Wales for practitioners in all sectors working in the fields of sustainability and climate change, and to deliver capacity building support through these networks.Help to deliver programmes, expertise and resources to encourage behaviour change to establish ways of living which use fewer resources in order to achieve greenhouse gas emissions reductions in Wales, and adapt to the unavoidable impacts of climate change.Provide the capacity to evaluate the impact of the programmes, services and products delivered through this contract, and to similar and related activities delivered in support of the SD Scheme and Climate Change Strategy.The Welsh Assembly Government, on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, will be conducting this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk Tender documents and other information must be downloaded from and returned through this portal.
