Programme Director for the Wheels Festival 2016 and 2017. This 2 year contract will have the option for 2 further 1 year extensions taking it to a maximum of a 4 year contract.The Bournemouth Wheels Festival, organised by Bournemouth Tourism, was introduced in 2014 and takes place over three days with the dates for 2015 being Friday 29th-31st May. This event is free and in 2014 attracted approximately 500 000 visitors. It includes 3 days of high energy across the town and seafront from beautiful historic and classic cars to world class BMX stunts, monster truck parades, F1Cars, skateboard stunts and motorcycle displays. In addition there will be wheel themed entertainment such as live music as well as family entertainment throughout the seafront and gardens. There will be trading, exhibition and promotional sites along the seafront, East Overcliff and Town Centre.The Wheels Director will take the lead role in the programme development and delivery as well as having significant input into the commercialisation of the Wheels Festival, branding and marketing in order to deliver the Wheels Festivals 2016 and 2017 which has been agreed in principal.This contract has been awarded for 2 years on the following costs per year: 2015/16 — 83 500 GBP; 2016/17 — 97 125 GBP.Following completion of the 2 year contract, should the supplier be offered the opportunity to extend the contract for the additional 2 years, the cost of these annual extensions will be negotiated at this time.The total contract value of 400 000 GBP submitted in II.2.1 is an estimated total should both annual extensions be taken for a total 4 year contract.
