Royal Mail Group Ltd (RMG) wishes to establish a UK wide coverage Project Management and Building Surveying Consultancy ServicesFramework to support the management and delivery of the annual RMG property planned maintenance programme of works and/or other Facilities Management related projects/programmes as per RMG business requirements. The types of building included in the property maintenance programme may include (but are not necessarily limited to): mail centres, delivery offices, regional distribution centres, vehicle workshops, parcelforce depots and the like.The Project Management Consultancy Services Framework may include (but will not be limited to) provision of the following services: -Project scope definition; design and specification; construction management; project closeout.It is anticipated that the framework will be divided into the following 6 Regional Lots:Lot 1 - Scotland, Northern Ireland, North East England;Lot 2 - North and North West England;Lot 3 - Midlands and North Wales;Lot 4 - North Thames and Anglia;Lot 5 - South Wales and South West;Lot 6 - South East England.RMG reserves the right to combine and/or amend Lots and/or sub-divisions within Lots subject to the applications and/or tenders received.Where Lots are subdivided geographically contractors may be appointed, on a non-exclusive basis, to a particular geographical region but may also be required to work outside the region.Applications may be made for one or more Lots.The final number of contracts to be issued will be determined at tender evaluation stage. Royal Mail may issue more than one contract for any individual Lots, and may also award contracts which cover more than one Lot.Please note therefore that in the event that an applicant bids for a Lot that is then amalgamated into a combined Lot, their application/bid may not be considered unless the applicant has also bid for the other Lot(s) forming the new combined Lot.
