Project Manager for Heritage Lottery Fund Townscape project in Boston

The contract is to project manage the development phase of the Boston Townscape Heritage Project to culminate in submission of the second stage funding bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). An initial grant of £73,000 has been approved to contribute to the development phase. The second stage bid will be for almost £1m. There is a fixed budget of £30,000 for the Project Manager role. The project is a partnership between Boston Borough Council and the Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire. The role will act as lead officer and principal contact for the project partners, funders and other stakeholders. Other duties will include: - The procurement of other professionals, such as architects or quantity surveyors as required for input into the bid documents. The preparation of text and photographs for promotional material To deliver public consultation events Preparation of the various plan documents required by HLF To assist with applications for other match funding for the Townscape Project. The key aim of the project as a whole is to enhance the historic character of a defined area of Boston town centre by improvement to the public realm and by using grants to property owners within the area to encourage improvement to the fabric of historic buildings.
