Provider Event for the Procurement of a Supported Housing Scheme for Vulnerable and Chaotic People

Bridgend County Borough Council is planning to procure a supported housing scheme for vulnerable and chaotic people who are homeless and have exhausted all alternative temporary housing options. This service will be supporting vulnerable people with a diverse range of needs for up to 12 months. In addition to this part of the contract will offer a ‘step down accommodation’ model to facilitate a smooth transition into communities. Housing Related Support will help maintain the skills and confidence necessary to live independently and maintain their tenancy. It will have housing, and preventing homelessness or people living in inappropriate institutional settings at its core.This engagement session is in advance of any procurement exercise, and as part of the engagement process Bridgend County Borough Council seeks the views of providers on a 1-1 basis to identify realistic service models and to understand any barriers they are faced with.The Provider event will take place on Thursday 11th May 2017, half hour time slots will be allocated between 9-5pm at Civic Offices, Angel Street, Bridgend, CF31 4WB.Please note there is a maximum of 2 personnel per organisation who can attend.To book a place on the provider event please email jade.wing@bridgend.gov.uk.
