Provider Forum Supported Living/Community Based Support:Wrexham Adult Social Care's Learning Disability Service are inviting interested and suitably qualified/registered providers to attend a short forum at Plas Pentwyn, Coedpoeth, on Wednesday May 20th at 11.45am for a 12noon start, to discuss Wrexham's commissioning requirements re: support models, housing options, enablement work, resource sharing and partnership working. As well as supporting people within the Learning Disabilty Service, there may be scope to include people within PSNI and other services. It is envisaged the discussion will last 45 minutes or so. There will be further presentations after the intial discussion at 1pm and 1.30pm on Supporting People funding and Telecare/Just Checking, although attendees not interested in theses may leave at 12.45 if so wished. Providers interested in attending are asked to email yvonne.kelso@wrexham.gov.uk with the subject header 'SL Forum' to book a place.
