Provision for Voluntary Sector Infrastructure and Capacity Building Services.
Descriptions
The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (‘the Council’) and NHS South West London Richmond Borough Team are seeking to appoint up to 3 Service Providers to provide voluntary sector infrastructure and capacity building services. The Council has a role in helping to build the capacity and infrastructure of voluntary organisations. One way it does this is through funding the provision of second tier support services to voluntary sector and not-for-profit organisations other than through front-line services. The requirements fall under three separate lots. Lot 1 is for the provision of strategic leadership, representation and voice for the voluntary and community sector. Lot 2 is for the development of the voluntary and community sectors and small businesses with a social purpose skills base and. Lot 3 sustainability is for the delivery of a volunteer recruitment and placement scheme. The Council will appoint to each lot the highest scoring tenderer once the evaluation process has been completed. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years in 12 month increments.
