Cheshire East Council are seeking a partner to develop, manage and maintain a brand-new car club for Cheshire East staff and residential use. The largely electric vehicle (EV) car club is intended to replace our current pool car system to create a more efficient and effective mode of transport across the borough.The council’s intention is to invite feedback from a variety of organisations to explore what opportunities are possible and how then Council’s needs can best be met. The council would expect the operator of the scheme to expand and improve the provision of the service where appropriate, prioritising low emission vehicles and proactively extending memberships across Cheshire East to ensure the service benefits for our intended users.
