Caerphilly County Borough Council, Children Services, Social Services Directorate, are seeking expressions of interest from Potential Providers for the following service.The provision of a Child and Family Support Service.The aim of the service is to ensure that children and young people;Are safeguarded from risk of harm; remain in their own homes or within their family network wherever possible;Are able to achieve their potential and become independent adults and achieve their physical, social and emotional developmental potential.The objective is to provide a coordinated borough wide Child and Family Support Service which promotes the safeguarding of children and young people and is flexible and responsive to the emerging needs of children, young people and their parents / carers;The Caerphilly Child and Family Support Service (CFSS) is targeted at all children and young people, age 0 to 18 years and their parents / carers, who are known to Children’s Services where the;Child’s name is at risk of being placed on the Child Protection Register (CPR);Child’s name is on the CPR; Child is at risk of becoming looked after; orChild is looked after, and their plan is to return home.The Child and Family Support Service will provide services targeted at the top of tier 2 to tier 3 of the Hardiker triangle.
