Torfaen County Borough Council has an established vehicle and plant service and repair facility at Ty Blaen Torfaen, New Inn. The facility currently services and maintains some 450 vehicles and plant owned by the Council and an additional 190 items on various external maintenance contracts currently in place.The equipment and vehicles the facility maintains and services ranges from simple hand held petrol driven hedge trimmers through to sophisticated 26 tonne refuse collection vehicles.MOT tests for all internal fleet and external fleet contracts are currently outsourced.The garage wishes to expand its current service provision to offer two products:MOT services for its own fleetMOT service for external customers, including staff at Torfaen CBC.Torfaen County Borough Council are looking to appoint a contractor to design & install, including all ground & electrical works an MOT bay and replacement of an existing 4 post lift in the current workshop.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=806.
