Provision of a facility for the collection and processing of cardboard recycling

The fundamental purpose of the Agreement is to provide Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council with the collection, processing and recycling of Cardboard from its Household Waste Recycling Centre at New Vale.The Service Provider shall provide the Services during the Term in accordance with the Council’s requirements as set out in the Specification and the terms and conditions.The contractor will be required to provide a 23T walking floor / bulk trailer for the containment of recyclates and part of the requirement is that on collection to replace the full container with an empty one. The contractor will also be responsible for the haulage and transfer of the recycling to the agreed treatment and disposal facilitiesThe collection will be from the Council's household waste recycling centre which is at -New Vale Household Waste Recycling Centre,Waun - y - Pound Industrial EstateEbbw Vale,Gwent,NP23 6PL
