Provision of a Freedom of Information, SARs and Complaints System
Descriptions
Hampshire County Council receives circa 3000 FOI/SARs requests and Complaints annually. Currently these requests are logged onto Access databases and spreadsheets. The Authority wishes to streamline and automate the management of requests and complaints with a view to improving compliance, decreasing case time and reducing the administrative burden of receiving and distributing these requests. HCC needs a more "systemised", less manual solution that logs requests and then automatically reminds users that a response is required. The system needs to be configurable to follow HCC workflows for the administration of different types of information request. As the system will contain personal data it needs to be secure, hosted in the UK and must be supported.
