Provision of a Management Service for Denbighshire Tourist Information Centres

Denbighshire County Councils’ Destination, Marketing and Communication Unit is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and capable company to provide a management, staffing and operation service for two Tourist Information Centres, Llangollen and Rhyl. The role will also involve the sourcing and merchandising of tourist type materials and staff selection and management.The expenditure for the Provision of a Management Service for Denbighshire Tourist Information Centres for the forthcoming arrangement is difficult to predict however as a guide we can advise that the estimated annual budget of the Authority is in the region of £90,000 per annum.The Centres must be run in compliance with Visit Wales and Charter Working Group standards, and must comply with all current legislation and Denbighshire County Council corporate policies.It is anticipated that a contract commencement date will be the 1st of April 2014. Any contract arising from the tender exercise will be for a one (1) year period.Denbighshire County Council reserves the right to review the need for the service and may review the delivery options for any or all elements of the service, this may also include the opening hours of all or any of the Tourist Information Centres at any time during the lifetime of any agreement.
