Wrexham County Borough Council requires the provision of a service that supports and develops people from disadvantaged backgrounds, who have participated in the Foundations and Foundations + schemes from the geographical and target group areas listed below, and progresses them into unsubsidised employment.The successful Provider will need to demonstrate how it will deliver the following through the medium of structured and relevant supported employment;• provide paid work;• develop participant motivation for work;• develop or implement tools that will measure and report improvements in confidence levels of participants;• further improve the generic skills required by local employers (as indicated in the VVP Foundations course);• develop the vocational skills of participants and introduce an awareness of lifelong learning;• secure participation of individuals from under-represented groups, including olderworkers, women, and people with work-limiting health conditions;• assist people towards a position where they can actively and independently seek employment;• ensure that people who live in the specified area benefit.The Service is to be provided for 12 months and must support a minimum of 24 participants.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=26528.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
