Provision of a Portfolio Reporting and Monitoring System
Descriptions
The UK Green Investment Bank was created by the UK Government, our sole Shareholder, who has committed to provide us with an initial £3.8bn of capital to invest. We use this to back green projects, on commercial terms, across the UK and mobilise other private sector capital into the UK’s green economy. Our investments help fund the creation of new, modern, green infrastructure across the UK and with that, new jobs in construction and operations. We have invested in every part of the UK and across all our target sectors, backing large projects with a capital expenditure of more than £1bn and small projects of £2m. We have set up five funds to specifically target smaller projects. GIB (including its subsidiaries) is, at this time, invested in seven operating off shore wind farms and two offshore wind farms under construction via debt and equity investments in the United Kingdom. Each wind farm company (“Company”) has an operator who manages the day to day running on the assets. The asset and financial management is done at a fund level and managed by GIB. This tender relates to all the wind farms partly and wholly owned by GIB. The purpose of this tender is to identify a vendor for supply and delivery of a Portfolio Reporting and Monitoring System (“PRAMS”) for the GIB portfolio to allow remote monitoring, analysis and reporting.
