Provision of a Quality Catering Service at the Pavilion Tea Rooms, Belle Vue Park, Newport

Newport City Council are looking to contract with a social enterprise or non-profit organisation to provide a quality Catering Service at the tearooms situated within the Pavilion at Belle Vue Park, Newport. There will also be a requirement for the successful provider as part of the Council’s Promoting, Independence and Choice project to train and prepare individuals with mental health or learning disabilities with the skills to be able toallow them to enter into the workplace.The land on which the park stands was a gift to the town from Lord Tredegar in 1891 to provide a public park for the people of Newport and was opened in 1894. The park has many features typical of a Victorian public park, including conservatories, bandstand and rockeries.
