Provision of a School Meals Catering Service to Schools within the City of Newport
Descriptions
Newport City Council invites tenders from experienced catering providers for the provision of a school meals catering service to 43 primary schools, 9 high schools , 2 special schools and 1 pupil referral unit within its geographical boundaries. The current contract for this provision expires on 31 July 2020 and the Council invites tenders from experienced providers to deliver the new contract from 1 August 2020. The contract will be for a period of 10 years and at the end of the 10th year the Council may, upon contract review, extend the Contract Period up to five (5) years on an annual basis or a period as agreed by both parties. It is considered that TUPE will apply.
