Brighton and Hove City Council (the Council) are seeking a care and support provider to operate a service supporting four people with cognitive disabilities in four self-contained flats in Hove. The successful organisation will support four people with a range of needs that are likely to include learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and autistic spectrum disorder and could also have physical support needs and some behaviours that challenge. The aim of the service is to provide supported living to enable people to live as independently as possible and minimise the risk of admission to residential care. Support may be long term or for a shorter period of time whilst the provider helps them transition to a more appropriate setting. The provider will need to demonstrate a commitment to and proven experience of supporting people with cognitive disabilities within a 24 hour supported living setting.
