Descriptions
Caerphilly County Borough Council require a suitable company to undertake a range of footpath improvements in the Caerphilly Mountain area. These works involve the stoned surfacing of existing paths and any minor ancillary drainage works.General works will involve the laying of 1.5 metre wide paths constructed of approximately 150 mm depth of 50mm hogging. This will be topped with a depth of 100mm hogging of maximum size of 25mm hogging. The works will be rolled and some timber edging works will be required. The auhtority will expect a minimum of 10% of materials to be recyclateProviders should note that access can be difficult in some areas of the Caerphilly Mountain area.The successful tenderer will be required to complete a site waste management plan (SWMP) as part of the project.Contractors must be Constructionline Registered.
