Provision of Aerial Surveillance Services.

Descriptions

Scotia Gas Networks plc (SGN), Scottish and Southern Energy plc (SSE) and SSE Renewables (SSER) requires a competent aerial surveillance contractor to undertake a frequent aerial survey programme of buried gas pipelines, Overhead Lines and Transportation of Personnel and Load Lifting. The contract will be divided into three specific Packages covering specific geographic lots:Package 1 — SGN:— Scotland Gas Networks;— Southern Gas Networks;— Northern Ireland;Package 2 — SSE:— SSE Scotland;Package 3 — SSER:— Offshore Windfarms;Contractors will be able to bid for one or any combination of Packages.The purpose of the survey is primarily to ensure that the pipelines/Overhead Lines etc are not subject to third party interference damage. The contractor is required to supply a fully managed service including the provision of suitable helicopters, experienced crew and specialist computer/imaging systems.The contracts will be awarded on a five year basis with an extension option of an additional two years.This AQ is specifically for Expression of Interest only.Interested Parties shall be sent a Pre Qualification Questionnaire which must be completed in full.
