Provision of an Advocacy Service

Wrexham Adult Social Care Department wishes to commission an Advocacy service for people in receipt of Statutory care and support and/ or people who are engaged with Adult Social Care, that encompasses elements of direct service delivery. These will include Independent Professional Advocacy, as well as community development; signposting; and the development of ‘Professional Networks’ that support the provision of low-level advocacy by community and third sector organisations operating within Wrexham. The Service is intended to be available to all Wrexham citizens; however, it is reasonable to expect the provider to signpost individuals who are not in receipt of formal/ statutory services, on to low-level advocacy already available within their community.
