Bournemouth Drug and Alcohol Action Team have appointed a suitably experienced, qualified and established organisation to deliver a central, independent assessment and care co-ordination service to residents of Bournemouth with substance misuse problems. Service Users accessing the service will have a holistic comprehensive assessment of their needs undertaken and then referred to other commissioning providers to meet their identified needs.This services is part of a clearly defined treatment system with other commissioned providers.The Contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years subject to satisfactory performance and funding. The anticipated start date is 1.4.2015.
