Health Technology Wales (HTW) is a new Health Technology Assessment (HTA) body that is seeking to procure access to an online database of evidence sources that provide early information on emerging non-medicine health technologies and the available evidence to support them to support evidence-informed decision making.The primary purpose of accessing such a system or database would be to assist HTW to fulfil one of its key remit areas - its ‘Identification’ function – which will aim to provide horizon scanning intelligence on technologies that may have a major impact on NHS Wales in future years.
