Provision of an NIR Oven

Descriptions

SPECIFIC IKC and Sêr Solar (College of Engineering, Swansea University) require a short wave near infrared (NIR) laboratory oven to allow the fast heating of materials in our research group. The short wave NIR emitters should have a total power output of at least 6.6 kW and the intensity should be fully controllable so that the power can be adjusted from 0-100%. To replicate industrial processes the sample holder should be on a conveyor belt capable of speeds from 2 m/min up to 70 m/min. It should also be able to accommodate a print width of at least 150 mm. This equipment will allow development of photovoltaic prototypes achieved via scalable printing routes and heating methods in order to prove materials and processes prior to implementation on a larger scale pilot line.Further details are available in the tender documents.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
