Provision of Architectural Services New UCL Student Centre.

UCL is seeking to procure architectural services in relation to the new UCL Student Centre project, in Gordon Street. This will involve the development of design proposals for the new facility in order to:a. Support a planning application and secure planning permission for the new development from the Local Planning Authority;b. Support the tender process to appoint a Contractor to build the new facility;c. Allow the construction and completion of the new facility in accordance with the Client requirements, and;d. Support and allow business planning for funding.A detailed scope will be published within the ITT, however, UCL currently expects the role to comprise RIBA Work Stages 1-2 through to Stages 6-7, namely:a. Concept Design;b. Developed Design, including CGIs;c. Production of planning application documentation;d. Technical Design / Construction Information;e. Tender Documentation, and;f. Installation and As-Built Drawings.UCL are currently finalising their procurement strategy, which may alter the indicative scope stated above. UCL reserves the right to alter the above indicative scope, which will be clarified within the ITT documentation.
