Provision of Autistic Spectrum Disorder Diagnostic Assessments

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board are seeking interest in the provision of An Autistic Spectrum Disorder Assessment service.The Key objective of the service is to undertake multidisciplinary diagnostic assessments of adults with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder, which includes an Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (DI-R) or a Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorder (DISCO), in accordance with National Institute for Health and Care excellence (NICE) Guidelines CG142 Autism: Recognition, Referral, Diagnosis and Management of the Autism Spectrum. NB. The assessments must be available in English or Welsh.The Integrated Autism Service currently has a waiting list for assessment and the purpose of this tender is to support the team in reducing the waiting list by the 31st March 2020.
