The National Assembly for Wales is the democratically elected body that represents the interests of Wales and its people, makes laws for Wales and holds the Welsh government to account.The successful contractor will provide broadcasting services to the National Assembly for Wales, including: - Operating broadcasting equipment to provide live coverage of Plenary and Committee meetings in the Senedd, Cardiff Bay for use by the Assembly, the Assembly's partner broadcasters and other broadcasters; - Operating broadcasting equipment to provide coverage of Committee meetings held outside the Assembly as and when directed by the client;- Designing, building and maintaining a web streaming service for Assembly proceedings and the Assembly’s promotional material; - Developing a digital archiving system for use by the Assembly, the Assembly's partner broadcasters and other broadcasters;- Maintaining, refreshing and replacing broadcasting equipment owned by the National Assembly for Wales.
