Provision of Business Space for Micro-Enterprises

Descriptions

Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) has been awarded money by the Welsh Government under its Rural Development Programme to deliver a project called “Green Shoots”. The project seeks to support the development of micro businesses (those employing 9 or fewer staff) in the areas defined as rural in Bridgend County Borough. Schemes have already been approved at Junction 35 of the M4 (Pencoed Technology Park) and Blaengarw so new applications are not sought from these specific locations in the interests of geographical spread. One element of the Green Shoots project is to improve unused or underused space in buildings in the rural areas to make them suitable for use by micro businesses. The Council is looking for projects in the rural wards which will bring forward business space suitable for use by micro businesses.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=5504.
