The emphasis is very much on teaching and learning and that is at the heart of all we do. We have an expanding and responsive curriculum aimed at enhancing choice and opportunity for students as they progress through the school. Our teaching is both innovative and challenging both in content and delivery where ICT is used throughout the school to bring the curriculum to life and to stimulate and engage students in their learning.Dr A AtkinsMore information about Caterham high School can be found by visiting the school's web page at http://www.ecaterham.netCaterham High School is a successful organisation and is looking to place the catering services on site to contract with provision commencing in September 2014.The current service is currently managed by Compass Services.There are currently up to 1 200 students and 90 teaching and 90 non-teaching staff within the School.The School day begins at 08:30 hours and ends at 15:15 hours. Lunch break runs from 13:00 until 14:00 hours. The site closes at 21:30.The School year is based on a calendar of 195 days.Five days are to be used for staff professional development which means that the school will be open to receive students for the legal minimum of 190 days.The school site is constantly evolving and it is expected that the new contractor will become involved with the growth and enhancement of the catering services to students and staff.There is an expectation that the successful bidder will be prepared to offer financial investment to Caterham High School in exchange for a longer term contract of between three and 5 years.
