The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre.This is a happy school where pupils are made to feel really welcome. We offer an exciting and varied curriculum and we challenge and support our students in their studies so that is very diverse so everyone can find ways of developing new skills and having fun at the same time.Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre is based on 'Learning, Respect and Belonging'. We have high aspirations for everyone and expect everyone to contribute positively to the school by working hard and participating in school activities. The Ofsted report grades us as a 'Good' school overall, with Good Teaching, Good Behaviour, Good Achievement and Good Leadership and Management.Inspectors particularly praised— The progress pupils make with their learning during their time at the school and the results they achieve in public examinations,— The quality of the 6th form, including development of leadership skills and preparation for future work and study,— The courteous behaviour of students around the school and their attentiveness in lessons,— The quality of teaching, including the way students are helped to become independent learners, and to work well together to support each other in their learning,— The broad and varied curriculum which provides for students exceptionally well,— The calm environment for learning in which pupils feel safe.Homewood School and Sixth Form centre is a successful organisation and is looking to place the catering services on site to Contract provision commencing in September 2014.There is a student population of 2 100 approx.The current service is currently managed by Compass Services.The school site is constantly evolving and it is expected that the new contractor will become involved with the growth and enhancement of the catering services to students and staff.There is an expectation that the successful bidder will be prepared to offer financial investment to Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre in exchange for a longer term contract of between 3 and 5 years.
