The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Greenwood Academy.The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering and vending services within the Academy, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements.It is expected that the successful contractor will be able to offer both innovation and a new food service offer which meets the needs of the pupils moving forwards into this contract term. The current range of foods needs to be expanded along with the service provision and to this end a breakfast service will be required from the commencement of this new contract.The contract currently operates on a subsidy. Free school meals and hospitality will be charged based on consumption and at net food cost. The projected cost of catering for the current year is 120 000 GBP (one hundred and twenty thousand pounds sterling).The contract being offered commences on 1.4.2014 and concludes on 31.3.2017 and will be on a guaranteed performance basis.
