Caerphilly County Borough Council invite tenders from Citrix Platinum Partners for software support for the Authority’s Citrix XenApp environment for a 3 year period starting 1st August 2015. The support will also include hardware support for the Citrix Netscaler from April 2016 as from this date the initial maintenance period will have expired.The Tenderer shall provide support for the Citrix products currently in use and as the infrastructure evolves during the contract period.Background:-Caerphilly CBC has embraced virtual technologies and has implemented a virtual desktop environment through Citrix technologies utilising XenApp version 6.5. Our intention is to update to version 7 within the next 12 months.Caerphilly CBC also uses Citrix Netscaler for remote access and intend to build on the functionality within this product over the next 18 months.
