The successful tenderer will be required to provide cleaning services at Fullbrook School.The School are looking for a new cleaning provider, with this contract being issued for a start immediately after the half-term holiday in February 2014. The contract will be for three years, with the School having an option to extend the contract for a further 2 years.Cleaning is currently undertaken through in-house provision, with sixteen cleaners working a variety of hours. Two of the cleaners provide cleaning/caretaking duties during the school day. These two members of staff and their associated school-day duties will not be transferred as part of this contract. Four of the members of staff who will be transferred as part of the contract are members of the LGPS.This contract will be fixed price in nature, with the successful contractor also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of cleaning provision.We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within secondary schools, ideally with a strong operational base within this sector or alternative institutions with similar requirements, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility.The successful contractor will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the senior management team within the School on the contract performance.The School are looking for a company which will work in partnership with them, will provide innovation and excellent management of the cleaning team, to deliver excellent cleaning standards throughout the School while also reducing the current costs associated with cleaning provision.
