Provision of Commercial Boiler Replacements at Ten Retirement Schemes

Bron Afon Community Housing Limited (‘Bron Afon’) is seeking a suitably skilled, experienced and accredited organisation to complete the replacement of up to ten (10) commercial heating and hot water systems at retirement scheme sites. The retirement schemes are all located within the Torfaen County Borough.It is proposed that the contract will be structured such that the appointed organisation will initially be instructed to undertake works at five (5) sites and then subject to their performance (monitored against programme, budget and KPIs) they will be instructed in respect of the remaining five (5) sites.The contract will include for a minimum of five (5) years cyclical service, maintenance and responsive repair including call-out of the installed systems. It is proposed that the option for a further five (5) years cyclical service maintenance and responsive repair will also be included.Bron Afon has the requirement that works at the initial five (5) sites commence and are substantially progressed before 31 March 2019. This will require the simultaneous delivery of works at the five (5) sites.It is proposed that a supplier information event will be held in the morning of Wednesday 7 November 2018 for organisations interested in this contract opportunity to visit two (2) sites and find out more about the contract. Attendance will be strictly limited to two people per organisation and space allocated on a first come first serve basis.Organisations interested in attending the supplier information event on Wednesday 7 November 2018 should email procurement@bronafon.org.uk with name and contact details of the people that would like to attend the event.
