Provision of community based specialist support for people with complex mental health problems.

Descriptions

The Service is for the provision of Care and Support for People with Mental Health Problems in Supported Living within the Warrington Borough. Supported Living is based on individuals having a legal interest in (e.g. a tenant/licensee/owner occupier) their own home and the right to remain in that property and to change support providers if they wish. A list of Preferred Providers will be maintained and on a monthly basis a randomised selection of Providers will be invited to participate in a mini tendering process in respect of new care/support packages for Service Users. During a 9-month period in 2014, 59 people were referred to the service and of these 41 were placed with providers on the current framework agreement. Of those, 24 were offered floating support, 3 were offered supported accommodation and 1 residential support.
