The Council therefore is seeking to commission research to undertake the development of an Employability and Skills Strategy and Action Plan that will support inclusive economic growth over the next 10 years. This strategy and action plan needs to be able to identify and quantify the nature of the challenges facing businesses in the Borough, and use this evidence to develop a strategic framework which provides the foundation for partners to able to address the challenges in the short, medium and long term.
