Descriptions
The WBS Transport Department operates a large fleet of vehicles as part of the organisations activities in the collection, testing and distribution of blood and blood products to its customer hospitals. WBS drivers are an integral part of the blood collection/delivery operation including the transportation of staff and equipment to blood collection clinics.WBS requirements may not always warrant employment of staff with the necessary C1 or D1 licence qualifications at point of recruitment. Many staff are recruited with B driving licence entitlement only.Suppliers are therefore invited to provide bids for the cost of the delivery of the appropriate training to enable staff to acquire the following driver licence entitlements:•C1 Licence entitlement (complete cost of all training)•D1 Licence entitlement (complete cost of all training)
