Project tendered on behalf of Ubico Ltd. Ubico Limited is a local authority owned company set up to deliver environmental services to its primary shareholding Councils through service contracts. The current shareholders are Cheltenham Borough Council, Cotswold District Council, Tewkesbury Borough Council, West Oxfordshire District Council, Forest of Dean District Council, Stroud District Council and Gloucestershire County Council. Ubico operates out of a range of sites throughout Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire Ubico is seeking a training provider to deliver approved/ accredited Driver's CPC License Training. The training must be delivered effectively in line with relevant legislation and standards. Quotations are invited for the provision of Driver's CPC Licence training provider to be delivered from Ubico offices/depots. All professional LGV drivers are required by law to complete 35 hours of Driver CPC training over five years in addition to having a vocational driving licence. Ubico has approximately 200 drivers who will require training. Driver CPC training must be delivered by an approved JAUPT trainer (Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training) The successful supplier must offer a range of courses which contribute to driver CPC certification, to include but not be limited to the following • Emergency First Aid at Work • Driver Hours and Tachographs • General Health & Safety - Manual handling, risk assessments and accident prevention • Vehicle Checks and Driver's Legal Requirements
