Audit/Assessment of the University’s impact in the following ways: a.Economic – GVA and GDP contribution, job creation, talent/skills, income and spending generated, value of home and international students and staff to local economy, capital expenditure and associated job creation, productivity b.Social – types of graduates, skills imported into West Midlands, volunteering, philanthropy (REF impact data which is aligned to regional priorities ) c.Cultural – value of our cultural contribution, visitor attraction, cultural partnerships, d.Political – influence on the region Comparison of Economic impact over time using 2005/06 and 2011/12 survey data (assuming methodologies allow data to be used in this way) Assessment of our Economic Impact against other regional businesses and comparator institutions A full report of all of the findings including recommendations for messaging and positioning outcomes
