Provision of External Refurbishment Works to 6 Blocks of Flats in Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran

This project consists of the external refurbishment of 6 blocks of flats located in Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran. These are 2-14 Cardigan Crescent, 1-13 & 15-27 Coed Garw, 101-113 & 115-127 Edlogan Way and 15-27 Hazel Walk.The buildings are designated as general housing, consist of 7 flats in each block and were built in the 1960’s as social housing. The buildings are of a traditional brick and block type construction with low pitched roofs. The residents living in the blocks consist of Bron Afon tenants and leaseholder properties.The works includes; re-roofing and strengthening works to the main buildings and external storage sheds, external envelope refurbishment works, balcony repairs and works to the drying areas.Contractors bidding for this work must be able to commence work on site at the end of June 2021 and be completed and invoiced by the end of November 2021.
